ok, ok i'm finally getting around to posting. andrew sent me a notice a few weeks ago and i had it saved in my email box until i got around to doing it. anyways, i haven't updated lately because not much is going on. i haven't updated, but i definitely have been checking my friends page everyday to see what you guys are up to.
justin and i moved in together in november and we're living in a nice little one bedroom apartment with a black cat named wendy who we adopted from the animal shelter during december. she was part of my christmas present from justin and she's just been a bundle of love ever since. i'm still working at target and it's going ok. it's a little too stressful for me at times but i love everyone that i work with and i'm getting more and more used to things.
i have no plans for the future months and have no idea what they will hold. i plan on going back to the jc for a class or two over the summer, and we're planning a trip to disneyland around may because i wanted to go during the 50th anniversary celebration. yeah, i think that's about it.
anyways, i'm always on myspace (but don't seem to update that blog either... hmm) but i will try to update this one more because i love reading what you guys have to say so i guess some people might like reading mine as well. anyways, until next time. -jenni |

um, so yeah i just thought i would update for the first time in forever. sorry, but i just haven't had that much time in the past few weeks.
almost 3 weeks ago i got a job at target in santa rosa as a guest service team leader. it pays well, and i like most of the people i work with so i'm having a good time so far. oh yeah, and apparently everybody and their mom comes to target.
unfortunately i have also been sick for the past 3 weeks with a sinus infection. the doctor said that i've had it for so long because i've been working too much and i haven't had ANY time to rest.
i've had 1 day off in the past 10 days.
justin and i found an apartment to live in on south e street and we signed everything and were going to move in last weekend. and then i ran my dad's car into a pole trying to get into our parking space. so that idea was canned since i couldn't even fit a freaking hyundai elantra into the nothing of a spot. and yes, the car is now a little dented and has a scratch on the side.
arguing with the apartment people for two days insued but i got all my money back.
then justin found the perfect apartment on monday and it's only a few blocks from target! it's in a newer complex, big, and allows pets! we're going to move in on monday because they're cleaning it right now and putting in new carpet.
it also has an actual parking spot.
i found a dog from a lady online that i was going to pick up today. she is soooo cute! she's a chinese crested named tango. i was going to pick her up today, but the lady didn't get home until 1 and by then it was too late to drive there since it's 4 hours one way (like 2 minutes from redding) so i'm definitely going to go pick her up on saturday which is my next day off.
whew. i think that's it. so saturday = puppy, monday = moving, and every other day = working. woo! |

i know i know i barely update this thing anymore but i need to make an eye appointment to get stronger glasses or something because my eyes are hurting again so i can only stay on the computer for about half an hour at a time. whew.
anyways, things are going good and bad lately. bad, because i still don't have a job and i'm getting really frustrated. good, because everything else is going well. justin and i are moving out together on november 1 so we're looking for a studio or 1 bedroom and i'm really excited about that. my room is clean and organized, i've gotten rid of a lot of things, money is ok even though i'm unemployed, and yeah good times.
monday justin and i are going to the corn maze in petaluma because we have missed it the past two years so we're going to catch it this time around.
i'm so excited that it's almost christmas! i love the holiday season and all the cheer and happiness and festivities and music and i'm actually in california for this one!

So on Friday I busted out my bike from the garage and dusted it off because of $3+ gas prices. I originally planned to bike only to Montgomery Village which is less then a mile away, but ended up biking to Justin's house across town instead. Seven miles later when I finally arrived I was very proud of myself, but dead at the same time. It was the first time I had rode my bike since I was in Junior High. Plus, I had never rode my bike in the street with cars before which was pretty scary. And I don't really know any of the bike rules.
Am I allowed to ride on the sidewalk when there are no bikelanes?
Am I supposed to sit in the left hand turn lane in the middle of the street when I want to turn left?
Do I stop on red when turning right or do I just keep going and stay close to the curb?
Does anyone else here ride their bike? Some tips or advice would really be needed. It was fine riding my bike in the bike lane but when there was no bike lane it was really scary and I just wanted to ride on the sidewalk. Anyways, that was my adventure for the week. |

nothing much has happened since my last post a few weeks ago.
i quit my job at plato's because the girls who worked there were real bitches and i felt like it was high school all over again with mundane gossip and everything. so now i'm only working at the outlets until they close on july 17th so i'm much happier. (and less tired)
i saw war of the worlds on sunday. it got bad reviews but i thought it was actually quite good. a lot of action, and the effects were good as well. i enjoyed the whole thing.
um... forth of july wasn't too eventful. did a little shopping, little swimming at the neighborhood pool and then got a small group together and watched the fireworks from the top of the sr plaza parking garage.
this week i have tuesday and friday off and i get off at 6:30 on sunday. anyone want to go to the beach? or do something? hello? :) |

ok so i FINALLY have a few minutes to update. these last few weeks have been soo crazy you have no idea. as you know i still work in petaluma at the outlets but about 2 weeks ago i got another (second) job at platos closet across from the jc in santa rosa. so some days i work in petaluma and then drive to santa rosa and work there, or if i have the day off from petaluma i work in santa rosa. which means i haven't had a day off since last tues and i won't have a day off (1 day only) until sunday. i'm soo incredibly tired i can't even stress that enough to you. and if that's not bad enough, i started my summer jc classes so i have a class from 10-1 on tues/thurs and an online class on top of everything else. so everyday i'm either in class then work, work then work, or just work. how did i get myself into this? so tired. so tired. tired.
on a lighter note i finally cracked down and bought a digital camera. i did hours of research and finally bought one from costco because it's the only place i will buy electronics (no restocking fee, can return it anytime) so i bought a fuji f10 6.3 mp digital camera. i wanted the olympus 7.1 mp one for the same price, but it didn't get a good review. i don't have pictures yet because it hasn't got here, but it's supposed to come thursday! (and of course i have to go to school from 10-1 and then work from 1:30-9 so no time to play)
oh yeah, and i sat on my reading glasses four days ago but haven't had time to get them fixed so i've been wearing them crooked ever since.
tuesday (june 14) was justin and my second anniversary. i had to go to school and then work until 6 (of course) so he suprised me by showing up at my work in the bmw and then driving me to el torito to eat after i got off. i like the place so it was really good. then he suprised me again by taking me to go see "mr and mrs smith" i liked the movie because it was a mix of action, comedy and romance which you don't see to often, plus highly entertaining. i recommend it. afterwards we exchanged gifts and hung out at his house until i had to go to work at 10 this morning until 7 tonight. even though nothing happened like it did to natalye (i wish!) i still has a really good time. <3

so here i go again trying to scribble out an update before work.
friday i went with natalye, her boyfriend and friend laura to the jimmy eat world/taking back sunday show in oakland where i had a really good time. mates of state played first and i had never heard them before but i didn't like them too much when i did either. it was too cutesy, simple, home-made, etc. taking back sunday was really good, but not as good as when i saw them acoustically because it was less personal. but they played a lot of the songs that i like and i had fun. jimmy eat world was last and they were definitely the best. they played like every song that i like by them except for one and i had an amazing time watching them. unfortunately i got my pictures developed and none of them came out because it was too dark. oh well, good times.
i'm working tues,thurs and sat with wed and fri off so i'm going to try and drag justin (or go alone) to the first wednesday night market. i'm excited. anyone else planning on attending?
lastly justin and i are planning on moving out sometime in june. one bedrooms are too much, so we're looking for a roommate for a two bedroom apartment. it'll probably be around $800-900 a month (with us playing more for a bigger room) so if you're clean then talk to me and we can be roommates! oh yeah, we're also looking at a "pets ok" complex because i want (need) a miniature schnauzer. anyways, let me know!

so i still have an extra ticket to the jimmy eat world / taking back sunday show this friday 05/13. it's in oakland so if anyone wants it (and i know you) then we can carpool together (which i would like). if i don't know you then i can drop it off somewhere or you can pick it up from me. it'll be $30 because that is that i paid for it. it's general admission because that's what all the tickets were. it should be an awesome show. :) |

whoops, sorry once again for the lack of updates. i have finally found a job. it's at the disney outlet in petaluma. my first day was last friday and i have been working everyday (except wed) since then so i blame the lack of updates on that. i'm a keyholder so i get to open/close the store and be in charge when the manager isn't there so it's pretty easy going. anyways, that's basically what i've been doing lately. friday adam and i may hangout and i may stop by terry's birthday party at his house. erin comes home today so hopefully we will be able to hangout soon! i need to call veronica because i haven't talked to her in awhile, and andrew and i need to figure out something to do. we got yogurt the other day and were talking about things to do so maybe one of those will work out. um... i think that's all i have to say. i'm really bored and really in the mood to hangout. |

wow, someone needs to remind me to update this thing!

i want to buy the faint "media" cd because they are the band i an currently addicted to right now (once again)
friday tabitha and i are hanging out in the evening and then going to see some band play at aroma's in sr at night. it sounds like fun so feel free to stop by and say hi!
saturday nothing is planned but i'm hopefully hanging out with adam if i can eventually get a hold of him. i have two numbers for him though which is kind of confusing? if not saturday, then sunday.
um... i need to call veronica and andrew to see if they want to hang out too. i'm feeling really social lately!
and someone needs to go to the bars with me. because no one wants to.

today is justin's 23rd birthday. we're going to go out tonight with a few other people probably to the last day saloon, tex wasabis, etc. hopefully people will be there since it's a monday and all. but i haven't been to those places yet so i'm excited. i also finally downloaded aim on my computer so people can im me now. i signed up for a srjc class from 3/16-5/16. it's an art class that's also part of my general ed. so i'm glad i'm getting it over with now. i still haven't found a job and it's starting to get real frustrating. that is all. |
